Escrow Smart Contract

When selling or buying, you will interact with a smart contract on the blockchain.

The funds are locked in a smart contract on the blockchain during the order process. Yuzumax is never holding your funds, and we cannot withdraw the funds from the smart contract.

The funds will be available to withdraw by the seller after 14 days from the date of purchase.

In case of problems with a purchase, the buyer needs to open a claim within 14 days of the purchase date. The process will be suspended, and funds will be locked for an undetermined time as soon as the Buyer opens a claim. Buyers and Sellers can discuss and solve their issues.

If the problem remains and the buyer doesn’t close the claim, the Seller or the Buyer can escalate the case to Yuzumax. Yuzumax will arbitrate and take the final decision after communicating diplomatically with the two parties.

Yuzumax has 3 possible actions:

1) Not doing anything.

2) Ask the smart contract to send the funds to the buyer.

3) Ask the smart contract to send the funds to the seller.

The outcome is final and unalterable.

Yuzumax encourages buyers and sellers to find a solution to their problems, as buyers or sellers will have their scores affected by the result of the transaction on their profile. The rating can impact your experience on the platform in the future.
